I do. But that’s the life of an author. I don’t always work on the weekends. Especially if I take a day off during the week, which happens sometimes. Today, I took care of all those weekly chores and ran to the store for a few supplies, and also got a workout in at the gym. I like to do that after work each day but there are times when you miss it and it must be made up somewhere along the way or suffer the consequences.
I like to start the week off right, so I picked up a few flowers along with my groceries and re-arranged my perpetual flower vase.
I chatted with my son and cuddled Ms. Hazel a little while I ordered a few Christmas presents. She’s such a sweetheart, kitty.
It’s been so rainy here lately but today it was cold and sunny. I’m planning to have a small steak salad for dinner, while reading Adrian Walker’s, From the Storm.
I have a lot of writing planned this week. Including a surprise lost chapter from The China Pandemic. I’m hoping I can stick to the schedule. I wish everyone a productive yet relaxing day.
The discipline required for writing is insane. So many things try to get in the way!
Gladiolus are my favorite flower.
