This is mostly for my fellow authors lurking in here 👀 😊
So many of you know that I took on a day job a while back to help make ends meet. What I haven’t elaborated on, is that along with a few others due to the market, new hires were laid off recently, right before I moved…
So while also writing and unpacking, I’ve also applied for many local and online jobs. But my friend author, Diana Orgain, pointed out that I’m also great at building landing pages, etc., and have done so for free for many authors over the years. It’s easy for me to see what they don’t. It’s too close to them and I seem to have a knack for coming up with other author’s successful taglines, creative, landing pages, etc.
She said, why not do that for extra cash while we wait two months for royalties to come in? And she’s right. I enjoy creating them. So I set up a BookMe calendar and sent my link to Diane Capri whom I’ve worked with in the past and she passed my link along to Ty Patterson.
We’d never met, but when he booked me, I ran with it and I think it turned out quite amazing. Wish I could do this for myself, lol. But I think when you’re too close to your own work, it doesn’t work as well. You need a trusted outsider.
It goes something like this, I study your books → create a custom tagline → test taglines → test creatives → create a custom welcome page → create a custom sales page, etc…
Welcome Page - Video - this is a video on desktop, it came out pretty cool.
So today, I presented this media package to Ty over Zoom and he was blown away. I’m so grateful. I love doing this as a side hustle and hope that it gives me the extra I need between royalty payments for that bit of security. I love helping other authors ❤️ But now, I just have to charge for that time and creativity.
So if you’d like to BookMe - or know someone who would, here’s the link.

“I’m going with them.” Bang’s hand, already on his rifle like he…
