One More Flight
A new trilogy—the lowest it's ever been, through Monday. Plus what's coming next from my desk.
Friends,
Henry Cade had one more flight to catch. One more quick trip he’d put off for months—then home to Emily and the boys.
He was on the phone with her when it happened. Telling her he was on his way. Hearing her smile through the line. Then the lights died, and the call cut out.
That was the easy part.
Because home was a thousand miles away now, the country was coming apart at the seams, and Henry had made his wife a promise he meant to keep no matter what stood between them: I’ll be damned if I let her down again.
That’s where On My Way begins—one man’s walk home through a collapsing world, and the family he gathers, and nearly loses, along the way. One bad day became one bad week. One bad week became one bad month. And every mile asked whether a promise is worth what it costs to keep it.
If you’ve been meaning to start the series, this is the week. For the first time, all three books are together at the lowest price they’ve ever been—through Monday, over on my store.
From my desk—
The weather here in the Pacific Northwest is something close to perfect lately. Windows open, drapes drifting in the breeze, birds outside chirping their love songs. It’s the kind of season that makes the writing come easy—and there’s been a lot of it.
Shelter in the Snow (The Last Safe County, Book 2) has been published. I’ve put the final touches on the cover for Graham’s Resolution, Book 12, currently in the Coming Soon pile. And many of you have already spotted the new covers on Surrender the Sun, Books 4–6—they never quite matched the rest of the series, and now they do. The paperback jackets won’t be far behind.
As you can see, I’ve been busy—visiting old friends and meeting new ones. It’s always an adventure.
And before you go, I’d love to hear from you: drop a comment and tell me which of my apocalypses you wandered into first. It’s always a treat to see where readers came in.
—Until next time, friend.
