On a Glimmer of Hope... I May Finally Move into My New Place, After a 3 Month Delay!

This move has been a catastrophe. I say that laughing slightly. But only slightly. It was supposed to be a quick, month or two stay over at my, friend, Doug’s room above his garage, for Henry and me. But it’s turned into a colossal mess. I feel as if I’ve been camping since last September. And in a way, we have been. With no bathroom or cooking facilities above the garage, this experience has certainly made memories and given me a new perspective on the apocalypse in a whole new way. 🥹 Sure, the room that he uses as a studio when he’s not hosting his not-quite-homeless friends, is charming in every way, but cold and damp in the winter and the mice are ready to evict us. 🐁

Certainly, I’m grateful for the cheap rent during this time to catch up on my advertising expenses and get back to a normal life, but it’s time to move on. I will forever be grateful to Doug and his generosity but I know he's missing this space for his art outlet. And I am missing mine as well… This space has not worked well for writing and I’m looking forward to getting back to it in my new place. 😊
