For quite a while, I wanted to publish...

…this young adult dystopian series.

But I was concerned that my reader base would balk at the idea since they were used to my books like The China Pandemic. Still…I have this…desire (if that’s the right word) to bring the dystopian world to the edges of the genre. To expose new audiences to what the world could be. To portend an undesirable outcome from today’s follies.

Like Harry Potter, I believed this series might be written for a younger audience but adult readers would carry the torch. And I was right. Though sales are slow, the reviews are beginning to come in and I’m grateful to you all for sticking with me.
