A Beacon in the Silence
Honoring the Brave 🌟 Remembering the Fallen 🎗️ Finding Hope in Darkness 🌅
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden hue across the desolate landscape, Alex took a moment to breathe. The world had changed so much since the outbreak. What was once a bustling community was now an eerie silence, broken only by the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of wildlife reclaiming their territory.
Alex had found an old, abandoned lighthouse on the outskirts of town. It stood tall and proud, a relic of a bygone era, much like the memories of those who once thrived here. With determination, Alex climbed the narrow, winding staircase, each step echoing the silence that enveloped the world. At the top, he surveyed the horizon, the view both breathtaking and haunting.
He lit the ancient lamp, its beam piercing through the gathering darkness. For Alex, the lighthouse was more than just a beacon in the night; it was a symbol of hope and a tribute to those who had fallen. This Memorial Day weekend, Alex remembered the friends, family, and strangers who had shown extraordinary courage and sacrificed so much.
He knew he wasn't alone. Somewhere out there, other survivors were fighting their battles, finding their own sources of light. The lighthouse stood as a promise—to himself and to anyone else who might see it—that there was still hope, still a reason to keep moving forward.
As he descended back into the depths of the lighthouse, Alex felt renewed. The world might have changed, but the spirit of humanity endured. And as long as there were people willing to fight for a new beginning, the light would never truly go dark.
**"Would give this a 10-star rating if possible!! I honestly could not put this down. It was great right on the first page and got better every single page! I have read every one of the Graham’s books and they get better and better and better! It has been so fun to reunite with all the characters in the story once again! Oh how I hope A. R. is already started on the next episode! Cheers and well done!!"**

**"Excellent new episode in the Graham series. This book shows AR Shaw back in full form. I had found that the series was running out of steam in the 6th and 7th books but this one shines. Fully engaging plot that builds into a doorway to another multi-volume extension of the series."**

**"Action doesn't stop! The only problem I have with this book is that I have finished it. Will reread starting with the first. Can't wait for the next one. You feel as if you are part of the group and going through everything with them. Excellent series."**

What’s Happening in Audiobooks? 🎧
I had to chuckle today when I received a text from Jordan Gibbs asking about Dill’s voice. We went over a few renditions and he’s working through not only a dog’s voice but also an elderly chain-smoker’s, lol. Writers don’t really think about what pains we’re putting narrators through when telling the story. Fun stuff…
